x2. In town in auto my DSG only get ~38mpg on my daily 13 mile commute to work. In manual mode I can better drive the torque and boost so I get close to 41mpg in town during the same commute. Highway it's pretty much the same unless you're on a hilly highway. I just keep it in manual in 6th so it's not always shifting up and down.
